Sayyiduna Adi bin Hatim (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, we are people who hunt; what do you say about the mi'rad?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whatever it pierces, eat it." And I also asked him (peace and blessings be upon him) about dogs, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you send out your dogs, eat what they catch, unless another dog besides them joins them."
