حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ هَارُونَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْمُسَيَّبِيُّ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُلَيْحٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنِ اسْتُشْهِدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ثُمَّ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي زُهْرَةَ عُمَيْرُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ
Ibn Shihab (may Allah have mercy on him), in naming the Muslims who were martyred alongside the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), said: Then from Quraysh, then from Banu Zuhrah: Umayr bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) (was martyred).
