حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ الْعَقَبَةَ لِبَيْعَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي مَازِنِ بْنِ النَّجَّارِ عَمْرُو بْنُ غَزِيَّةَ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ ابْنِ خَنْسَاءَ بْنِ منْدُولِ بْنِ غَنْمِ بْنِ مَازِنٍ»
Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him), in listing the names of those of the Ansar who took part in the pledge to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at al-Aqabah, said: Then from Banu Mazin bin al-Najjar: Amr bin Ghaziyyah bin Tha'labah bin Khansa' bin Mandul bin Ghanm bin Mazin (may Allah be pleased with him) (also took part).
