Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14143 — On the day of the Conquest of Makkah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amr bin Kharijah (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: On the day of the Conquest of Makkah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood among us until even those who were far away gathered around him. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) called out in a voice loud enough for all of them to hear, and said: "O people! Allah has been gracious to you and has restored to every rightful claimant his due right. Listen! After this standing of mine, no bequest is permissible for an heir. The child belongs to the (lawful) bed, and for the fornicator is the stone. Whoever attributes himself to someone other than his father, or attributes himself to someone other than his patrons, upon him will be the curse of Allah, the angels and all people on the Day of Resurrection; neither a voluntary nor an obligatory deed will be accepted from him." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) left, and the people left as well.
