Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14133 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ خِدَاشٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ الْحَجَبِيُّ، قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَارِجَةَ، قَالَ: خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ عَلَى نَاقَتِهِ الْجَدْعَاءِ وَأَنَا آخِذٌ بِجِرَانِهَا وَهِيَ تَقْصَعُ بِجِرَّتِهَا فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ أَعْطَى كُلَّ ذِي حَقٍّ حَقَّهُ، لَا وَصِيَّةَ لِوَارِثٍ، وَالْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ، وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ، مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ وانْتَمَى إِلَى غَيْرِ مَوَالِيهِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ، لَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ»

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amr bin Kharijah (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed us while he was riding his she-camel al-Jad'a', and I was by her halter while she was chewing her cud. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah has given every rightful claimant his due right. No bequest is permissible for an heir. The child belongs to the (lawful) bed, and for the fornicator is the stone. Whoever attributes himself to someone other than his father and attributes himself to someone other than his patrons, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels and all people; neither a voluntary nor an obligatory deed will be accepted from him."
