Companions Whose Names Begin with Ayn (ع)
عبد الله بن أرقم الزهري وهو عبد الله بن الأرقم بن عبد يغوث بن وهب بن عبد مناف بن زهرة، وأمه عمرة بنت الأرقم بن هاشم بن عبد مناف، كان قد عمي قبل وفاته، كان كاتبا للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وأبي بكر، وعمر، وعثمان رضي الله عنهم
Abdullah bin Arqam al-Zuhri (may Allah be pleased with him); he is Abdullah bin al-Arqam bin Abd Yaghuth bin Wahb bin Abd Manaf bin Zuhrah, and his mother was Amrah bint al-Arqam bin Hashim bin Abd Manaf; he became blind before his death, and he was a scribe for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman (may Allah be pleased with them)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14051 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَرْقَمِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ وَأَرَادَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْغَائِطَ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِالْغَائِطِ» .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the prayer has been called (iqamah) and one of you feels the need to relieve himself, let him first relieve himself."
