عبد الله بن أرقم الزهري وهو عبد الله بن الأرقم بن عبد يغوث بن وهب بن عبد مناف بن زهرة، وأمه عمرة بنت الأرقم بن هاشم بن عبد مناف، كان قد عمي قبل وفاته، كان كاتبا للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وأبي بكر، وعمر، وعثمان رضي الله عنهم
Abdullah bin Arqam al-Zuhri (may Allah be pleased with him); he is Abdullah bin al-Arqam bin Abd Yaghuth bin Wahb bin Abd Manaf bin Zuhrah, and his mother was Amrah bint al-Arqam bin Hashim bin Abd Manaf; he became blind before his death, and he was a scribe for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman (may Allah be pleased with them)

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَرْقَمِ، قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَهُ فِي سَفَرٍ، وَكَانَ يَؤُمُّهُمْ، فَلَمَّا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ، قَالَ لَنَا: لِيَؤُمَّكُمْ بَعْضُكُمْ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ وَبِأَحَدِكُمُ الْحَاجَةُ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِالْحَاجَةِ»
Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates: We were with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) on a journey, and he used to lead the people in prayer. When the time of prayer came, he said to us: "Let one of you lead the prayer, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'When the time of prayer has come and one of you needs (to relieve himself), let him first attend to his need.'"
