Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14006 — he said: O Messenger of Allah, we find

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُنِيرُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ نُسَيٍّ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ نَجِدُكُمْ فِي كِتَابِ اللهِ أُمَّةٌ حَمَّادُونَ، مَوْلِدُ نَبِيِّهِمْ مَكَّةُ، وَهِجْرَتُهُ طَيْبَةُ، وَجِهَادُهُمْ بِالشَّامِ، يَأْتَزِرُونَ عَلَى أَنْصَافِهِمْ، وَيُظْهِرُونَ أَطْرَافَهُمْ، لَهُمْ دَوِيٌّ بِاللَّيْلِ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ كَدَوِيِّ النَّحْلِ فِي غَارَاتِهَا، يَأْتُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ غُرٌّ مُحَجَّلُونَ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "O Messenger of Allah, we find you in the Book of Allah as a nation that praises (Allah) much. The birthplace of their Prophet is Makkah and his emigration is to Taybah (Madinah); their jihad will be in al-Sham. They will tie their lower garments around their waists and keep their hands and feet uncovered. At night in the mosques there will be a humming (of their recitation and remembrance) like the humming of bees in their hives, and on the Day of Resurrection they will come with radiant faces and (gleaming) hands and feet (from the traces of ablution)."
