حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْعَطَّارُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي يَحْيَى، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ وَرَأَى رَجُلًا رَافِعًا يَدَيْهِ بِدَعَوَاتٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَفْرُغَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ، فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ مِنْهَا، قَالَ: «إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَرْفَعْ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ»
Muhammad bin Abi Yahya relates: I saw Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both); he saw a man raising his hands for supplications before finishing his prayer. When the man had finished it, he said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would not raise his hands until he had finished his prayer."
