حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْوَرْدِ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ يَقُولُ: " تَشَهَّدَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: بِسْمِ اللهِ وَبِاللهِ خَيْرِ الْأَسْمَاءِ التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ الطَّيِّبَاتُ الصَّلَوَاتُ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، أَرْسَلَهُ بِالْحَقِّ بَشِيرًا وَنَذِيرًا، وَأَنَّ السَّاعَةَ آتِيَةٌ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهَا، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللهِ الصَّالِحِينَ، اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَاهْدِنِي ". هَذَا فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الْأُولَيَيْنِ
I heard Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) say: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the tashahhud (in the prayer): "In the name of Allah and by Allah, the best of names. All reverence, all good things and all prayers are for Allah. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, He is alone, and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is His servant and Messenger; He sent him with the truth as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner, and that the Hour is coming, there is no doubt about it. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. O Allah, forgive me and guide me."
