حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ الْحَجَبِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «إِنَّ رَجُلًا حَلَفَ بِاللهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ كَاذِبًا، فَغَفَرَ لَهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man swore a false oath by Allah, besides whom there is no true god, and Allah forgave him."
