It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Prophet of Allah, may I perform Hajj on behalf of my father?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Are you his eldest child?" He said: "Yes." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then perform Hajj on his behalf."
