Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 13779 — I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَزَّارُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ الْغَفَّارِ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُ الْبِطِّيخَ بِالرُّطَبِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) eating watermelon with fresh dates."
