حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدٌ الْعِجْلُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِشْكَابَ، ثنا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ صُقَيْرٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَعَلَ حَرِيمَ النَّخْلَةِ مَدَّ جَرِيدِهَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set the harim (protected boundary) of a date palm as the reach of its branches.
