حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، قَالَ: ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: «قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ سَبْعًا، وَصَلَّى خَلْفَ الْمَقَامِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَسَعَى بَيْنَ الصَّفَا، وَالْمَرْوَةِ» ثُمَّ قَالَ: لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived and performed tawaf of the House, seven circuits, prayed two rak'ahs behind the Station, and performed sa'i between al-Safa and al-Marwah. Then he said: Indeed you have in the Messenger of Allah an excellent example.
