حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا عَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: «قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ سَبْعًا، وَصَلَّى خَلْفَ الْمَقَامِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَطَافَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ سَبْعًا» وَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived (in Makkah) and performed tawaf of the House, seven circuits, prayed two rak'ahs behind the Station of Ibrahim, and went seven times between al-Safa and al-Marwah. And indeed you have in the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) an excellent example.
