Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 13530 — I observed the Prophet ﷺ twenty-five

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَجَلِيُّ، ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ ثُوَيْرِ بْنِ أَبِي فَاخِتَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: «شَهِدْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ مَرَّةً فَكَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ، وَالرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْمَغْرِبِ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ، وَقُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: I observed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) twenty-five times; in the two rak'ahs before Fajr and the two rak'ahs before Maghrib he (peace and blessings be upon him) would recite "Qul ya ayyuha al-kafirun" and "Qul huwa Allahu ahad".
