Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 13474 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ enjoined us so

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحَرِيشِ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ خِرَاشٍ، عَنِ الْعَوَّامِّ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: «أَوْصَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْجَارِ حَتَّى رَأَيْنَا أَنَّهُ سَيُوَرِّثُهُ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) enjoined us so much regarding the neighbour that we began to think he (peace and blessings be upon him) would make him an heir."
