Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 13422 — A man asked the Prophet ﷺ
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْمُؤْمِنِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ، وَالْقَاسِمُ بْنُ أَبِي بَزَّةَ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ مُصَرِّفٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ رَمْيِ الْجِمَارِ مَا لَهُ فِيهِ؟ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: «تَجِدُ ذَلِكَ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ أَحْوَجَ مَا تَكُونُ إِلَيْهِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: A man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the stoning of the Jamarat: what benefit is there in it for him? Then I heard him say: "You will find it with your Lord at the time when you are most in need of it."
