ثابت بن الضحاك بن خليفة الأنصاري يكنى أبا زيد
Thabit bin al-Dahhak bin Khalifah al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), his kunyah was Abu Zayd
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1325 — he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said

حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، قَالَا: ثنا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ: «مَنْ حَلَفَ بِمِلَّةٍ غَيْرِ الْإِسْلَامِ كَاذِبًا مُتَعَمِّدًا، فَهُوَ كَمَا قَالَ، وَمَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِشَيْءٍ، عَذَّبَهُ اللهُ بِهِ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Thabit bin al-Dahhak (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever deliberately swears falsely by a religion other than Islam, he is as he said; and whoever kills himself with something, Allah will punish him with it in the fire of Hell."
