ثابت بن الضحاك بن خليفة الأنصاري يكنى أبا زيد
Thabit bin al-Dahhak bin Khalifah al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), his kunyah was Abu Zayd
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1321 — he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْحَلَبِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ، أَنَا حَرْبُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو قِلَابَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي ثَابِتُ بْنُ الضَّحَّاكِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ حَلَفَ بِمِلَّةٍ غَيْرِ الْإِسْلَامِ كَاذِبًا فَهُوَ كَمَا قَالَ، وَمَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِشَيْءٍ، عُذِّبَ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَلَيْسَ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ نَذْرٌ فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ، وَلَعْنُ الْمُؤْمِنِ كَقَتْلِهِ، وَمَنْ رَمَى مُؤْمِنًا بِكُفْرٍ فَهُوَ كَقَتْلِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Thabit bin al-Dahhak (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever swears falsely by a religion other than Islam, he is as he said; and whoever kills himself with something will be punished with it on the Day of Resurrection; and there is no vow upon a man in what he does not own; and cursing a believer is like killing him; and whoever accuses a believer of disbelief, it is like killing him."
