Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 13139 — When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned

حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِذَا قَفَلَ مِنَ الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ يَقُولُ: كُلُّمَا أَوْفَى عَلَى ثَنِيَّةٍ أَوْ فَدْفَدٍ كَبَّرَ ثَلَاثًا , ثُمَّ قَالَ: «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ سَاجِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ، صَدَقَ اللهُ وَعْدَهُ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ، وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from Hajj or Umrah, whenever he climbed a hill or an elevated place he would say the takbir three times, and then say: "There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, alone, without partner; to Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He has power over all things. We are returning, repenting, worshipping, prostrating, and praising our Lord. Allah fulfilled His promise, helped His servant, and alone defeated the confederates."
