حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، قَالَ: قَالَ نَافِعٌ: كَانَ رَجُلٌ يَصْحَبُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ فِي السَّفَرِ: «فَأَمَرَنَا أَنْ نُوقِظَهُ، وَأَنْ نُهِيِّئَ لَهُ سَحُورَهُ»
Nafi' said: A man used to accompany Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) on journeys, and he ordered us to wake him and to prepare his pre-dawn meal (suhur) for him.
