Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12966 — concerning this saying of Allah

Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said concerning this saying of Allah Almighty: "There is no sin upon you in seeking bounty from your Lord" [Surah al-Baqarah: 198]: That is, there is no harm upon you in buying and selling before ihram and after it. As for the state of ihram, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade that a person marry, or give someone in marriage, or slaughter, until he has finished his ihram.
