يزيد بن الأصم، عن ابن عباس
Yazid bin al-Asamm from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12947 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: I have
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدَ الْأُمَوِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي فَزَارَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَمْ أُومَرْ بِتَشْيِيدِ الْمَسَاجِدِ» وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ لَيْثًا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have not been commanded to build mosques lofty and adorned."
