Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12815 — from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas

Muhammad bin Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) extended his hand towards Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him), but Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) drew back, until he went and performed the ritual bath (ghusl). Then he came and said: O Messenger of Allah, I was in a state of major impurity (junub). At this the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Muslim does not become impure."
