Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12680 — the Prophet ﷺ offered the funeral prayer

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَا: ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي سِنَانٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «صَلَّى عَلَى مَيِّتٍ بَعْدَ مَا دُفِنَ»

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the funeral prayer for a deceased person after he had been buried.
