حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ الْمَازِنِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو إِسْرَائِيلَ الْمُلَائِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي عُمَرَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: «كَانَ يُنْبَذُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَيَشْرَبُهُ مِنَ الْغَدِ، وَبَعْدَ الْغَدِ، فَإِذَا أَمْسَى يَوْمُ الثَّالِثِ أَهْرَاقَهُ، أَوْ أَمَرَ فَأُهْرِيقَ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Nabidh would be steeped for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) would drink it the next day and the day after; then when the evening of the third day came, he would pour it away, or order that it be poured away.
