حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ، ثنا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الشَّعِيرِيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ثنا رَبَاحُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: «احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، حَجَمَهُ مَوْلًى لِبَنِي بَيَاضَةَ، وَأَعْطَاهُ أَجْرَهُ، وَلَوْ كَانَ حَرَامًا لَمْ يُعْطِهِ إِيَّاهُ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had himself cupped; a slave of Banu Bayadah cupped him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him his wage. Had it been unlawful, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would not have given it to him.
