Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12520 — the Prophet ﷺ forbade making any living

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحَرِيشِ، ثنا سَالِمُ بْنُ نُوحٍ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «نَهَى أَنْ نَتَّخِذَ شَيْئًا فِيهِ الرُّوحُ غَرَضًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade making any living thing a target.
