Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12512 — Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be)

Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to say concerning the saying of Allah Almighty, "And he certainly saw him on the clear horizon" [Al-Takwir: 23]: "By this I mean Jibril (peace be upon him): that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) saw him in his (true) form at the Sidrat al-Muntaha (the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary)."
