Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12486 — A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْجَزَرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَقَالَ: إِنَّ أَخِي صَرَعَهُ بَعِيرُهُ، فَمَاتَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اغْسِلْهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَلَا تُحَنِّطْهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُحْرِمًا»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: A man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: My brother was thrown by his camel and died while in the state of ihram. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Wash him with water and lote-tree leaves and do not apply hunut (embalming perfume) to him, for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection in the state of ihram."
