Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12474 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was travelling

حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا عَيَّاشُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الرَّقَّامُ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: بَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسِيرُ وَمَعَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ مُحْرِمٌ إِذْ عَثَرَ بِهِ بَعِيرُهُ فَوَقَعَ عَنْهُ فَوُقِصَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اغْسِلُوهُ بِالْمَاءِ وَالسِّدْرِ، وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ الَّذِي أَحْرَمَ فِيهِمَا، وَلَا تُغَطُّوا وَجْهَهُ، فَإِنَّ اللهَ يَبْعَثُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُهِلًّا»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was travelling, and with him (peace and blessings be upon him) was a man from the Muslims who was in the state of ihram. Suddenly his camel stumbled, and he fell from it and was killed. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Wash him with water and lote-tree leaves, shroud him in the very two garments in which he entered ihram, and do not cover his face, for Allah Almighty will raise him on the Day of Resurrection calling out the Talbiyah."
