Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12405 — A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ, and he ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الشَّامِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ صَبِيحٍ، ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ السَّمَّانُ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي وَحْشِيَّةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ امْرَأَةٌ , فَقَالَ لَهَا: «مَا يَمْنَعُكِ مِنَ الْحَجِّ؟» قَالَتْ: لَمْ يَكُنْ لَنَا إِلَّا نَاضِحٌ غَزَا عَلَيْهِ أَبِي وَزَوْجِي، فَقَالَ لَهَا: «اعْتَمِرِي فِي رَمَضَانَ فَإِنَّهَا لَكِ حَجَّةٌ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: A woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked her: "What has kept you from Hajj?" She said: We had only one water-carrying camel, and my father and my husband have gone out on jihad on it. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Perform Umrah in Ramadan, for it is equal to a Hajj for you."
