Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12383 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There are

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا بَنَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدَ الدَّقَّاقُ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ، ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا مِنْ أَيَّامٍ يُتَقَرَّبُ إِلَى اللهِ فِيهَا بِعَمَلٍ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأَيَّامِ الْعَشْرِ» ، قِيلَ: وَلَا الْجِهَادُ؟ قَالَ: «وَلَا الْجِهَادُ إِلَّا أَنْ يُجَاهِدَ هُوَ بِنَفْسِهِ، وَمَالِهِ وَلَا يَرْجِعُ مِنْهُ بِشَيْءٍ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are no days in which drawing near to Allah through a deed is better than in these ten days." It was asked: Not even jihad? He said: "Not even jihad, except for a man who goes out for jihad with his life and his wealth and then brings none of it back."
