Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12367 — I heard Sayyiduna Ibn Umar

Sa'id bin Jubayr (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates: I heard Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade nabidh made in earthenware jars. So I came to Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) and mentioned this to him, and he said: "Ibn Umar has spoken the truth." I asked: What is a jarr? He said: "A vessel made of clay."
