Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: I have not seen any people better than the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). They did not ask him (peace and blessings be upon him) about anything except thirteen questions until he (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, and all of them are (mentioned) in the Qur'an. Among them are: "They ask you about the sacred month" [Surah al-Baqarah: 217], "They ask you about wine and gambling" [Surah al-Baqarah: 219], "And they ask you about the orphans" [Surah al-Baqarah: 220], "And they ask you about menstruation" [Surah al-Baqarah: 222], "They ask you about the spoils of war" [Surah al-Anfal: 1], and "And they ask you what they should spend" [Surah al-Baqarah: 219]. They only asked about what would benefit them. He also said: "The first to circumambulate the House were the angels; and between the Black Stone and the Yemeni Corner there are graves of the prophets (peace be upon them); and whenever a prophet was harmed by his people, he would leave from among them and worship Allah there until he died."
