Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12171 — When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْأَسَدِيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عُمَيْرٍ، مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: «لَمَّا قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الطَّائِفِ نَزَلَ الْجِعْرَانَةَ فَقَسَمَ بِهَا الْغَنَائِمَ، ثُمَّ اعْتَمَرَ مِنْهَا وَذَلِكَ لِلَيْلَتَيْنِ بَقِيَتَا مِنْ شَوَّالٍ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from Ta'if, he stayed at al-Ji'ranah and distributed the spoils of war there, then he performed Umrah from there, and that was when two nights of Shawwal remained.
