Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12051 — the letter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، ثنا أَبُو شَيْبَةَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، " أَنَّ كِتَابَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْكُفَّارِ أَنْ {تَعَالَوْا إِلَى كَلِمَةٍ سَوَاءٍ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ} [آل عمران: ٦٤] " إِلَى آخِرِ الْآيَةِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the letter of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to the disbelievers was: "Come to a word that is equitable between us and you" [Surah Al Imran: 64], to the end of the verse.
