Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12047 — when travelling, the Messenger of Allah

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عُمَرَ الضَّرِيرُ، ثنا أَبُو شَيْبَةَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ «يَخْطُبُهُمْ فِي السَّفَرِ مُتَوَكِّئًا عَلَى قَوْسِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when travelling, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would deliver the sermon leaning on his bow.
