Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12045 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى الْكِسَائِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَخَلَعَ نَعْلَيْهِ فَخَلَعْنَا نِعَالَنَا فَلَمَّا قَضَى الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ: «لِمَ خَلَعْتُمْ نِعَالَكُمْ؟» قَالُوا: رَأَيْنَاكَ خَلَعْتَ فَخَلَعْنَا، قَالَ: «إِنِّي بَلَلْتُ فِيهِمَا»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in prayer and took off his sandals, so we took off our sandals too. When he had finished the prayer, he said: "Why did you take off your sandals?" We said: We saw you take them off, so we took ours off. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I perceived some wetness in them."
