Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12039 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would deliver
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا سَعْدُ بْنُ الصَّلْتِ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَائِمًا، ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ، ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَخْطُبُ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would deliver the sermon on Friday standing, then sit down, then stand up and deliver the sermon.
