حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالَا: ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «خَرَجَ فِي رَمَضَانَ زَمَنَ الْفَتْحِ فَصَامَ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ بِقُدَيْدٍ أَفْطَرَ وَأَفْطَرَ أَصْحَابُهُ حَتَّى قَدِمُوا مَكَّةَ» . «وَاللَّفْظُ لِسُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ حَرْبٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set out in Ramadan at the time of the Conquest of Makkah and fasted, until when he reached Qudayd he broke his fast, and his (peace and blessings be upon him) Companions also broke their fast, until they reached Makkah.
