Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 11817 — Sayyidah Safiyyah began menstruating

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Sayyidah Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) began menstruating after she had performed the tawaf, so Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said to her: "What a disappointment! I see that you are going to hold us back." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What is the matter?" She (Sayyidah Aishah, may Allah be pleased with her) said: Safiyyah has begun menstruating. It was said: She has already performed the ifadah (Tawaf al-Ziyarah). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then there is no harm."
