حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنِي بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ، ثنا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَبْدَ الْقَيْسِ، عَنِ الْمُزَّاءِ، وأَرْهَبُ أَنْ يَكُونَ الْبُسْرَ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the tribe of Abd al-Qays from muzza' (an intoxicating drink). The narrator said: And I think it was made from unripe dates (busr).
