حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَاجِيَةَ، وَأَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا قَاسِمُ بْنُ عِيسَى الطَّائِيُّ، ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ صَوَّرَ صُورَةً كُلِّفَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَنْ يَنْفُخَ فِيهَا الرُّوحَ، وَمَنِ اسْتَمَعَ إِلَى كَلَامِ قَوْمٍ وَهُمْ لَهُ كَارِهُونَ صُبَّ فِي أُذُنِهِ الْآنُكُ، وَمَنْ تَحَلَّمَ كَاذِبًا كُلِّفَ أَنْ يَعْقِدَ بَيْنَ شَعِيرَتَيْنِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever makes an image will be required on the Day of Resurrection to breathe a soul into it. Whoever listens to the talk of people while they dislike it, molten lead will be poured into his ears. And whoever falsely relates a dream will be required to tie together two grains of barley."
