حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ عَلِيًّا فَوَضَعَ لَهُ غُسْلًا ثُمَّ أَعْطَاهُ ثَوْبًا فَقَالَ: «اسْتُرْنِي وَوَلِّنِي ظَهْرَكَ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), and he set out water for him to bathe; then he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him a cloth and said: "Screen me, and turn your back towards me."
