Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 11691 — When you prostrate, place your hands
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَجَلِيُّ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، وَشَرِيكٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: «إِذَا سَجَدْتُمْ فَأَلْصِقُوا أَيْدِيَكُمْ بِالْأَرْضِ» زَادَ شَرِيكٌ: فَإِنَّكُمْ بِذَلِكَ أُمِرْتُمْ
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: "When you prostrate, place your hands on the ground." Sharik added: "For that is what you have been commanded."
