Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 11646 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever angers Allah to please people, Allah becomes angry with him and also makes angry with him the one whom he had pleased by angering Him. And whoever pleases Allah while incurring the anger of people, Allah becomes pleased with him and also makes pleased with him the one who had become angry with him for pleasing Him, until He makes him, his words and his deeds appear beautiful in their eyes."
