Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 11568 — One of the wives of the Prophet ﷺ passed

Ikrimah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: One of the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away. Ishaq said: I think he named her as Sayyidah Safiyyah bint Huyayy (may Allah be pleased with her). She passed away in Madinah, so I came to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) and informed him, and he prostrated. I said to him: You are prostrating while the sun has not yet even risen? Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: May you lose your mother! Do you not know that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you see a sign, prostrate." And what sign could be greater than the Mothers of the Believers departing from this world from among us while we are alive?
